Wideawake fun at VU Unsleepover 2026

Wouldn’t it be fun to invite all your Besties to come to your house and have a sleepover? No, you are not to old for a pajama party, you just might want to change your planning a little.
Well, this is exactly what the ladies of Voices United did one Sunday night in June. And they called it an Unsleepover - because everyone went home at bedtime.
The group gathered at the home of Lisa Olsen and began the evening with salad and pizza. Then everyone found a seat around the living room and watched The American President, a 1990s rom-com.
The group really enjoyed the movie because they found it relevant to today’s political landscape.
After taking a group picture to remember the evening, the ladies decoupaged a copy to patriotic frames.
And since it was bedtime, everyone went home and retired to their own beds. Afterall, we do need our beauty sleep!
